GAS TRASMITTER DUST
General Description
The DUST transmitters are used to detect concentrations of inflammable substances, expressed in % L.E.L.
(Lowest Explosive Limit), or of toxic substances, expressed in ppm., in an atmosphere which is generally composed principally of air.
In order to offer the maximum flexibility to the system, the circuit for acquiring and processing the signal generated by the transducers is designed in such a way that it can be used with transducers of different electrical characteristics.
DUST/DU and DUST/DY transmitters are based on enose®technology.
The sensor head is of a diffusion type; the sample of air to be analysed penetrates by diffusion through the flame trap disc in the measuring chamber in which the transducer circuit is located.
